Payments can be declined if the initial card verification was unsuccessful when you set it up. This can happen if for example there were insufficient funds on the account or your card was frozen.
If only your recent Apple/Google Pay transactions have been declined, here are some reasons why this might happen:
- If your card shows as Card suspended in your Apple /Google Wallet, please remove and add the card again.
- Check that your card is active in the App. If a freeze is applied then Apple/ Google Pay will stop working. Unfreeze your card to activate Apple/Google Pay again.
- Check that your card hasn’t been locked by us due to suspicious activity. To do so, review any notifications we’ve sent or check your in app messages in the Card tab to remove the block.
