Why do I get a new IBAN?
As Trade Republic expands across Europe, we are continuously extending our partner network to offer you an even better product. Customers who will be migrated to our new banking partners will receive a new IBAN for their Trade Republic cash account.
What will change for me with a new IBAN?
There will be no changes for you. Of course, there are still no custody fees or negative interest rates. In addition, the full deposit protection of €100,000 applies. Please remember that you must adjust your standing orders to Trade Republic.
Where can I find my new IBAN?
You can find your new IBAN in your profile under Deposit and then Bank Transfer. Alternatively, you can find it in your Settings under cash account.
What do I have to do when I receive a new IBAN?
Please only use your new IBAN for future transfers into your Trade Republic account.
How is my money protected with the new IBAN?
Your deposits remain legally protected up to €100,000. Find out more about Safety and Protection of your funds here.
Can I continue to use my Trade Republic app after receiving a new IBAN?
You can continue to use your Trade Republic app as usual without any restrictions.
What happens if I pay into my old IBAN?
For a transition period of 90 days, we will ensure that all transfers will be forwarded to your new account. After that, all transfers will be rejected and transferred back to the account you sent money from. We will of course inform you before deactivating your old IBAN entirely.
