To find derivatives: from Wealth or Cash > tap Browse > scroll down to Derivatives. Tap the section title or any derivative from the list to choose a type:
- Knockouts
- Factor Certificates
- Warrants
Knockouts
Knockout derivatives are speculative products usually intended for a short-term exposure and entailing the risk of a total loss. To find knockouts:
- View the current price of the underlying instrument and toggle between Long or Short. You can also narrow down the list by filtering by issuer(s): Société Générale, and/or HSBC.
- Tap any column (Leverage, Knockout Price, or Expiry date) of the list to sort it. Or double tap to switch the sorting from ascending to descending, or vice versa.
- At the bottom, input the leverage (increase and decrease it via the plus and minus buttons). The list is then filtered to display only derivatives above the input leverage.
Factor Certificates
With Factor Certificates you can indirectly invest in stocks, indexes and other assets using leverage, which is constant on a daily basis. To find factor certificates:
- View the current price of the underlying instrument and toggle between Long or Short. You can also narrow down the list by filtering by issuer(s): Societe Generale, and/or HSBC.
- Tap any column (Factor, Size, or Expiry date) of the list to sort it. Or double tap to switch the sorting from ascending to descending, or vice versa.
- At the bottom, input the factor (increase and decrease it via the plus and minus buttons). The list is then filtered to display only derivatives above the input factor.
Warrants
Warrants are a derivative that give the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell a security—most commonly an equity—at a certain price before expiration. To find warrants:
- View the current price of the underlying instrument and toggle between Call or Put. You can also narrow down the list by filtering by issuer(s): Societe Generale, HSBC and/or Vontobel.
- Tap any column (Strike Price, Delta, or Expiry date) of the list to sort it. Or double tap to switch the sorting from ascending to descending, or vice versa.
- At the bottom, input the strike price (increase and decrease it via the plus and minus buttons). The list is then filtered to display only derivatives above the input strike price.
