Why did you change the app design? | We're always working on making wealth creation accessible to more people. The redesigned app is our most intuitive and simple investment experience ever. It provides you with more clarity on your investments and builds the foundation for exciting new products. |
How did the portfolio charts change? | There is a new feature that allows you to customize the color mode according to your preferences. To access this functionality, simply navigate to the Appearance section within your Profile under Settings. You can choose whether you will see the chart colours based on the company logo or in red/green based on the performance. |
What’s the difference between Wealth and Cash? | The balance of your portfolio may have changed after the new app design because your money is now split between Wealth and Cash. Wealth is dedicated to your investments and shows you the value and performance of your portfolio. You can see the total sum of your Wealth and Cash in the profile section that you reach via the avatar at the top. The amount displayed on the top now excludes uninvested cash. Cash focuses on transactions and shows you the deposited cash, which is not invested. The bubble visualisation provides insight into your investment behavior on a monthly basis, across asset classes. In the transaction list you will find all transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals, investments, interest earnings and dividend payments. |
How are the values of the bubbles in Cash calculated? | The bubbles are a visual representation of how you have allocated your investments across asset classes on a monthly basis. It gives you insight into your investment behaviour throughout the current and previous months. The bubble amounts are calculated based on the total value of your buy and sell transactions for each asset class. To calculate the bubble value, the sum of all buy trades is subtracted from the sum of all sell trades. If the result is negative, the bubble value is set to 0. |
Why can't I see the new app design but my friend can? | The development and implementation of a new app can present numerous technical and complex challenges. In order to deliver an exceptional user experience to our customers, we have strategically decided to launch the app in several stages, while also prioritizing the security of our systems. This is also why you don't see the new app design, for example Cash, in the browser version. We are committed to ensuring that all of our customers will have access to the new app in the near future. |
Can I have the previous app version back? | It's not possible to keep the previous version of the app. |

What functionality does the new chart offer? | If you hold your finger on the chart and move it, you will see historical values in the chart. You will also see the reference line and axes while you press on the chart. Alternatively you have the option to activate the performance mode in your settings under Appearance. Activating this feature will permanently display the reference line and axes on all charts. Also, when activating the performance mode you will see chart colors in red and green. |
Where is my securities account number? | You can find your securities account number in your account statements: from Wealth or Cash, tap your avatar at the top of the screen > tap Activity > find and select your report > view or download the PDF under Documents. |
How do I refer a friend now that the app has changed? | Some customers have the opportunity to invite friends and family to discover Trade Republic. Your personal invitation link is available directly in the app: go to Wealth > then tap the referral tile under the chart (you can also find it when you tap your avatar at the top od your screen) > select Invite. |
How do I activate interest now that the app has changed? | To start earning interest on your uninvested cash: As an existing customer, simply open your mobile app and tap the interest banner in Wealth (you might need to update or reinstall the app to see it). Once you accept the new T&Cs, your uninvested cash balance will automatically begin earning interest. As a new customer, you don’t need to sign up for interest as it’s automatically activated when you open your account. Once interest is activated, you’ll be able to see the interest banner in Wealth. You can also review the updated T&Cs you just accepted by going to Wealth or Cash > tap on your avatar at the top of the screen > scroll down to Service > tap Documents > General documents > Customer Agreement. |
Where is the Analytics pie chart? | From Wealth, scroll down to Orders & Insights, and select Analytics. |
Why can’t I see all months in the Transactions section of Cash? | You’ll only see months where investments took place. |
Where can I see my orders and savings plans? | Go to Wealth then scroll down to Orders & Insights. For orders click on Orders, for savings plans click on Savings. |
How can I search for assets/instruments/stocks? | From Wealth or Cash, tap Browse then use the search bar at the bottom and the filter function next to it. |
Where did the timeline go? | From Cash, scroll down to Transactions to see your timeline. |
Where can I find my receipts and transaction history? | Go to Cash > Transactions. Select any event to get an overview of the transaction details and any relevant documents (such as invoices, receipts, or billing executions). |
Where can I find historical share price information? | Tap and hold any point in the investment chart to slide along the line and see historical numbers for the selected timeframe. |
