Your cell phone number serves as a "user name" for logging in to your securities account. If you had tried to register with a new cell phone number, a new profile would have been created automatically with the new cell phone number.
For this reason, we have to delete the new registration with your new phone number so that it can be released again (only one phone number can be linked to a Trade Republic securities account at a time). We need your help to do this: To enable us to find the profile with the new number in the system, we ask you to enter a few details in the app.
Please follow these steps:
- Log in with your new cell phone number and enter your data. You can stop entering the data as soon as you have entered an address.
- Once this is complete, please contact us. Confirm your new mobile number and ask us to delete your new profile.
- As soon as we have confirmed the deletion, you can log in with your old cell phone number and then enter the new cell phone number in the app settings.
