The processing time can vary depending on your current custodian bank and should normally not take more than 3 weeks. In exceptional cases, the transfer may take longer. In this case, it is the responsibility of the issuing custodian bank to inform you of the delay. There may be delays for technical reasons, particularly when transferring positions from foreign credit institutions or positions from employee programs.
If you would like to inquire about the status of your securities account transfer, please contact the transferring custodian bank first. If the transferring custodian bank confirms that the positions have already been transferred, you are welcome to contact our support. In order to enable a detailed check, we would ask you to provide us with the following information:
- Name of the issuing custodian bank
- Date of the securities account transfer
- ISIN of the positions to be transferred
- Number of items to be transferred
- TaxBox IDs of the transfers (to be requested from your issuing custodian bank)
Please note that derecognition from the issuing custodian bank does not automatically mean that Trade Republic has received the securities. The entry into the portfolio takes place automatically as soon as we have received the positions.
