Which reference accounts are not accepted?

In order for you to open an account with Trade Republic, you must specify a reference account. The specified account can’t be used as a reference account if:

  • The account is not an EU account.
  • The account is a credit card clearing account.
  • The account violates our customer agreements.
  • You’re not the account holder.
