Your mobile phone number acts as your username for logging into your securities account.
To update your phone number:
- Close the app completely (from the open applications view) then reopen it
- Log in using your previous phone number
- From Wealth or Cash, tap your avatar in the top of the screen
- Scroll down to Settings and select Personal data
- Tap Phone number
- Enter your PIN
- Enter your new phone number and tap Next
- Confirm the change with the code sent to the new number
If you try to log in with your new phone number without changing it first, a new profile is automatically created with the new number connected to it. In this case, we'll need to delete the new registration using your new phone number so that it can be released and you can use it again (a phone number can only be associated with one Trade Republic account).
To release your new number:
- Log in with the new phone number and enter your personal details, including your email address, then tap Continue
- When you're done step 1, please contact us to confirm your new mobile phone number and state that you authorize us to delete your recently created profile
You can also link a new device to your account.
