Belgium | 11 character sequence (Numéro National) found on the identity card |
Estonia | 11 character sequence (Isikukood) found on the Passport, Estonian citizen identity card and on the Driving licence |
Finland | 11 character sequence found on the Identity card (Henkilökortti / Identitetskort) or on the Driving Licence (Ajokortti-Körkort) |
France | 13 character sequence (numéro fiscal) found on the first page of the pre-filled tax return for income tax (déclaration pré-remplie d'impôt sur le revenu), on the first page of the notice of assessment of income tax (avis d'imposition ou avis de situation déclarative) or even on the letter you received from the French tax authorities to remind you to file your first tax return when you turned 18. Please keep in mind that, despite still belonging to your parent’s tax household, only your own tax ID is valid for this purpose |
Germany | 11 character sequence found on the letter from the Federal Central Tax Office (Bundeszentralamt für Steuern) |
Greece | 9 character sequence found on the "Tax Completeness Status" document or on the "Tax Refund Status" document that is produced yearly by the Greek Ministry of Finance |
Ireland | 7 digits + either 1 or 2 letters at the end: the code, used to identify taxpayers is the Personal Public Service Number (PPS No), is issued by the Department of Social Protection and can be found on the tax return form |
Italy | 16 character sequence found on the personal Health card (tessera sanitaria) or on the TIN card (codice fiscale) |
