CARD SETTINGS
For added security, the Mirror Card and Classic Card are initially delivered with the contactless payment and magnetic stripe options deactivated, which you can activate according to your preferences. From Profile, navigate to the Card section, scroll down and you will see the following options below.
You can manage the following card settings directly in the app:
- Contactless payments: you can choose to keep the option disabled . You will still be able to make contactless payments using your phone or smartwatch.
- Magnetic stripe: Magnetic stripe payments are initially disabled This means your card will only work with chip and pin or contactless transactions. Magnetic stripe payments are no longer common in Europe, therefore it is advisable to activate them only when travelling to other continents where they might be used.
- Online Transactions: you can choose to deactivate online transactions on your card. This won’t affect your card payments using your digital wallet.
- ATM withdrawals: If you wish to prevent any attempts to withdraw cash, you can deactivate ATM withdrawals.
CARD OPTIONS
In terms of your card, you also have the option to:
- Freeze or unfreeze your card: You can freeze your card when it is lost but still want to keep your current card. When your card is frozen, no further transactions can be made. You can always unfreeze it at a later point in the app.
- Terminate your card: cancel your current card if lost, stolen or broken. A replacement card can be ordered once your current card is terminated. A terminated card cannot be reactivated.
