As a shareholder, you’ve the right to attend general meetings of the respective stock corporation. The process of registering for the Annual General Meeting differs depending on the type of security.
Please note that you need to possess at least 1 share.
Domestic bearer stocks: For domestic bearer stocks, we’ll inform you in advance about upcoming shareholder meetings. You will receive the announcement via your profile in the App. You can participate in a shareholder meeting if you hold the stock in your securities account on the record date (usually the 21st day before the meeting). You can order the voting cards via our service; you’ll find instructions on this in the cover letter.
Domestic registered stocks: In the case of domestic registered stocks, you’ll receive all information about the Annual General Meeting directly from the company. In order for the company to contact you, you must be registered in the stock register. The registration process is optional at Trade Republic. In order to give you enough time to register in advance of a shareholders' meeting, we’ll inform you about upcoming dates via your profile in the App. If you’re interested, you can be entered in the register and will then receive the necessary information from the company.
Foreign stocks: We don’t offer the option of attending foreign shareholders meetings.
