A derivative is a financial instrument, the price of which is derived from the performance of a certain underlying asset, such as stocks, commodities or bonds. The derivatives include, for example, certificates and warrants.
Derivatives are aimed at experienced participants in the capital market who use derivatives to hedge risks, speculate on price changes in the underlying or, for example, invest in indices or commodities.
Derivatives with a leverage effect allow the price change in the underlying asset to be “leveraged”, that is, to increase it. In this way, high profits, but also high losses can be achieved quickly.
