Savings plans are executed flexibly on execution days during the course of the day: on the 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd of the month when the exchange is open (if not, on the next trading day). However, we guarantee that they’ll be executed during XETRA trading hours.
A few reasons why your savings plan wasn’t executed:
If you create or change a savings plan on an execution day, it may be that the execution has already taken place. In such a case, the savings plan will only be executed at the next opportunity.
If the stock is currently suspended from trading, the savings plan execution will be suspended. Possible reasons could be current corporate actions or delistings, for example. However, we’ll inform you about such events by email. The stock savings plan will be executed one day later at the latest, if trading is then possible. There’ll be no later execution, as we can’t guarantee the price of the transaction day. In such cases, the savings plan will not be executed until the next selected time.
Savings plan payments only go through if there’s enough funds in your Trade Republic cash account. To avoid this, we recommend setting up direct debit. (If available, the option will be shown in the app).
